Previous Women's Weekend Retreat 

in Launceston

Women's Weekend Retreat at a beautiful heritage home in Launceston, Tasmania. Fully inclusive weekend included 2 nights accommodation, private bedrooms, an amazing Reiki and Candle Making Workshop with Tash from Phoenix Candles and Reiki, all meals, selfcare pack to use and then take home, mindfulness practices, and lots of time to rest and recharge.  There was also an optional 30 minute relaxation massage provided by Stacie-Lee from the Refined Beauty Company at the house (so no need to go anywhere), so glad I had a massage myself!

The weekend included practices to celebrate who we are as women. To reconnect with ourselves, celebrate and show appreciation for everything we do and for those we care about and to build connection and support with other women on retreat.

Women's Weekend Retreat at a beautiful heritage home in Launceston, Tasmania.  Fully inclusive weekend included 2 nights accommodation, private bedrooms, 30 minute relaxation massage and optional facial provided by Stacie-Lee at the house (so no need to go anywhere), all meals, selfcare pack to use and then take home, mindfulness practices, including a mindful movement session with special guest Esther and lots of time to rest and recharge.

The weekend included practices to celebrate who we are as women.  To reconnect with ourselves, celebrate and show appreciation for everything we do and for those we care about.

Reset Your Thinking Weekend Retreat at Bridport, Tasmania

This Retreat included meditation workshops throughout the weekend tailored to the needs and goals of the group. Beautiful accommodation was available with the option of twin share or private rooms.

Retreat included:

  • 2 nights' accommodation
  • All meals (breakfast x2, picnic lunch x1 and dinner x2)
  • Tea and coffee
  • Meditation workshops and;
  • A beach themed Selfcare Pack to use over the weekend and then take home with you

Stacie from Beauty by Stacie-Lee attended the house and participants could enjoy a 30 Minute Relaxation Massage and/or a Tailored Facial.  The house was within walking distance to the beach and you could hear the waves throughout the day and laying in bed. There was plenty of time to enjoy the beach and sunshine. 

Mindful Wellbeing Weekend Retreat - Launceston

 The Retreat was a two day retreat aimed at professionals working in caring professions with mindfulness practices and self-care in luxury private accommodation in Launceston, Tasmania. 

Included in the Retreat was: 2 nights accommodation; fully catered meals; fully guided mindfulness practice and self-care activities; 30 minute relaxation massage by a qualified therapist, mindful movement practice and; a self-care pack to take home to continue practice and focus on wellbeing.  

Retreat special guest Esther joined us  to discuss how exercise is a way to connect to felt sensations within the body (interoception) e.g. that can benefit you to identify pain/pleasure and how you can adapt exercise to relieve or acknowledge pain and find a more pleasurable outcome through movement. We looked at our surroundings and our body in the space (proprioception), and also how we can use this throughout movement for grounding (which may help you pull away from flashbacks, unwanted memories, and negative or challenging emotions). These techniques may help distract you from what your experiencing and refocus on what's happening in the present. This was suitable for all levels of fitness (from sedentary to intermediate) and participants were taken through a workout that built on major areas of fitness such as core strength, muscular endurance, and the session included gentle relaxation stretches to re-centre and again connect with their body and mind after the session (a time for self-review). All attendees received a free 4-week full membership at Mind and Body Fitness in Kings Meadows.

Stacie from Beauty by Stacie-lee came along and everyone enjoyed a 30 minute relaxation massage and Stacie was also able to offer tailored facials.

The food was amazing and all formal practices were completely tailored to the needs of the wonderful people who attended.

❈ Mindfulness for beginners

Don't be worried if you have never practiced mindfulness before.  Each session will be fully guided practice in a safe and supportive environment.  You will be asked to register your interest in sessions and complete a registration form to provide information prior to attending to ensure that your needs are met and you have everything you need available to you.  It is highly recommended that you bring along anything to help you relax and be comfortable, like a yoga mat, bean bag or blanket, snacks and a drink.

You will have the opportunity to practice a range of mindfulness techniques including breathing practices, body scans and mindful movement.

Reset Your Thinking Retreats

Attending a retreat is a great way to get away and have some space and time for yourself.  

What happens on retreat?  You will be guided through a range of formal and informal mindfulness practices, including body scans, breathing, mindful movement and mindful eating and be provided with opportunities to learn  practices that you can continue with at home and in the workplace.  You will also be given time to rest and relax to fully take in the experience.   

A key focus of the retreat will be to ensure you develop practices that you can continue when you go home.
